This Website provides summarized and somewhat diffident information about me and my current professional endeavors. If you're interested, there are some prolix personal tidbits included along the way.

» Current Status:

- I am a Lecturer at the Telfer School of Management at University of Ottawa. My appointments include teaching senior undergraduate (B.Com.) level and graduate (M.B.A. and M.Sc.) level courses in Management Information Systems, e-Business Technologies & Operations Management.

- I’m currently working as part of a research team on these two projects:

i) “myhamilton.ca User Uptake and Adoption Study” investigating the adoption and use of the City of Hamilton’s www.myhamilton.ca community portal by its users ; and

ii) "Adoption and Use of Community Municipal Portals" (funded by Infrastructure Canada's Peer-Reviewed Research Studies (PRRS) program) (click here for a synopsis of the project) examining multiple community-oriented municipals portals as a means of understanding the factors that affect community portal adoption and use in various cities and regions.

- February 2006: Paper presented at PISTA 2004 (with Alexander Serenko and Mihail Cocosila) was ranked among the best 10% of publications presented at the Conference and invited to be republished in the journal.
- November 2005: Chaired a Conference Session & Presented Paper at the 2nd International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and Organisational Learning.
- October 2005: Book Chapter published in Encyclopedia of Communities of Practice in Information and Knowledge Management.
- September 2005: Book Chapter published in Global Integrated Supply Chain Systems.
- May/June 2005: Completed Ph.D. Comprehensive Exams with Distinction.
- February 2005: Spoke as an Invited Speaker at the OLA (Ontario Library Association) Super Conference 2005 in Toronto.
